Paraguay in the world's top 5 as an exporter of chia

Currently the country occupies the 5th place as an exporter of chia, this oilseed is currently one of the best business opportunities in the agricultural sector, both for the primary producer and for export companies in the sector.

Being healthy today is no longer a luxury, said Paulo Duarte, director of Broterra Paraguay - a company dedicated to the production and marketing of organic products, such as chia, amaranth and quinoa seeds known as "superfoods" - when interviewed in the program Tribune issued by Paraguay TVHD.

In it he also pointed out the benefits that these offer, such as omega 3 and omega 6 - essential fatty acids for the body - in addition to potassium, calcium and phosphorus, among other nutrients.

Apart from being currently a phenomenal ally for people looking to lose weight.

The future of chia is very big. It is not a simple nutrient, it is a meal and there are no limits on what people can consume.

Some people consume 1 cup per day and there is no problem. The chia has replaced the seed of Linseed, which has some limitations and represents people some problems. This seed does not represent any problem for people. Flaxseed is not like chia, which has an unlimited future, with a good price.

According to the industrialist, a secondary benefit of these crops and productions is that they work with small farmers in vulnerable areas such as San Pedro, allowing farmers to commercialize sustainable income, as well as improving their diet.

As for the benefits offered by these products, they have no comparison with others of plant origin because they provide nutrients and benefits that the body needs.

La chía offers omega 3 and omega 6 that for those who want to take care of their health are essential; It is an antioxidant, a source of potassium, calcium and many proteins despite what little is known.
